Most nationalities can get a Pakistan e-visa or visa on arrival.
Currently no NOC required for Swat — but rules can change. Check the Pakistan Tourism Department website.
Dress modestly: long pants, sleeved shirts.

Avoid eating in public during Ramadan daylight hours.

ATMs in Mingora accept Visa and Mastercard.
Carry enough cash for Kalam — fewer ATMs, smaller hotels.
